At the hem, wide bands of sequins and sequin-filled rosettes give the skirt its weight and catch the light as it moves. The choli is hand-embellished along the plunging V-neckline, the lower edge and the back with pearls, seed beads, cut dana, crystal stones, Swarovski crystals, naqshi, tilla and resham, and at the back gold doris end in long latkans and tassels of gota, mirrors, golden pipe beads and gold patti. A sheer ivory pure Indian tissue dupatta, worked in aari tilla, golden sequins and resham and sprayed by hand with pearls and Swarovski crystals, carries a wide maroon border embroidered in the same work as the lehenga (without the mirrors), with a pure copper kiran fringe on all four sides.
