Free worldwide shipping
Shipping is complimentary on every order, in Pakistan and worldwide. There is no delivery charge at checkout, wherever you are, and no minimum order value.
How we ship
Couriers and tracking
Every order leaves our Lahore studio with DHL or SkyNet. Each parcel is fully trackable, and your tracking number is sent to you the moment the order leaves us.
How long delivery takes
Once your order has been dispatched:
- Within Pakistan — 2 to 5 days
- International — 7 to 14 days
These are transit times only. They begin after your piece is made and handed to the courier, not from the day you place the order. Bridals are the exception: their 10 to 12 weeks already includes delivery (see below).
Making time
How long each piece takes to make
Every piece is made after you order it, so please allow:

Making time and delivery time are separate
For everything except bridals, add the delivery time above to the making time to get the full picture. If you are ordering from outside Pakistan, that means 7 to 14 days on top of the figures in the table.
Bridals are the exception: their 10 to 12 weeks already includes delivery, from placing the order to having the dress in your hands, in Pakistan and worldwide.
Please order well ahead of your event. If your date is tight, tell us before you order rather than after. We will say honestly whether it is possible, and where a piece is already made we can often dispatch the next day.
These timelines are estimates
All timelines above are estimates unless a specific date has been expressly guaranteed to you in writing. They can be affected by material availability, delays in receiving your measurements or approvals, courier delays, customs clearance, and other circumstances outside our reasonable control.
We will always tell you promptly if a material delay arises. A delay does not by itself create a right to cancellation, refund, compensation or chargeback — please see our Refund Policy.
Customs, duties and taxes
Who pays import charges
Orders are shipped DDU — delivered duty unpaid. Shipping itself is free, but your own country may charge import duty, tax or a courier clearance fee when the parcel arrives. These charges are payable by you, not by us, and customs will not release the parcel until they are settled.
The courier clears your parcel and contacts you directly before delivery to collect what is owed. You pay the courier, not us.
The amount depends on your country, the declared value of the order, the fabric composition of the piece, and the tariff rules in force when your parcel arrives. We have no way of knowing or controlling it in advance. What we can do is declare your order accurately and provide the documentation the courier needs, so clearance is as quick as possible.
Waqas Shah Official is not responsible for these charges, and cannot accept chargebacks, disputes or refunds arising from unpaid customs duties.
What to expect in your country
Import rules differ sharply from one country to the next, so we keep a detailed guide for each of our main markets:
- Ordering from the United States — why the $800 de minimis exemption no longer applies
- Ordering from the United Kingdom — the £135 threshold, 20% import VAT and DHL clearance fees
- Ordering from Canada — why the CAD $150 threshold does not apply, and how provincial tax changes the total
- Ordering from Australia — the AUD 1,000 threshold, and why most pieces clear without charges
- Ordering from Europe — EU import VAT from the first euro, the end of the €150 duty exemption, and Norway

Orders containing more than one piece
A Ready to Ship piece ordered on its own is dispatched within 48 hours.
If you add a Ready to Ship piece to an order that also contains made-to-order items, the whole order is dispatched together once everything is ready. If you would rather have the Ready to Ship piece sent separately and earlier, let us know — a separate dispatch charge applies.
