We ship our Lahore-made bridal and formal wear to Australia free by DHL or SkyNet, and so far Australian customers have ordered lehenga choli. Every piece is made after you order.
Australia has the simplest import rules of any country we ship to, and for most of our pieces that works in your favour. The details are below, with timing, payment and sizes.
Getting it to Australia
Your order is made first, then shipped. Ready to Ship pieces are dispatched within 24 to 48 hours; Luxury Pret needs about 4 weeks, Luxury Formals 5 to 6 weeks, and Bridals 10 to 12 weeks including delivery. Delivery then takes 4 to 11 days to reach you, free and tracked.
Order a bridal piece early, and tell us your date before you pay if it is less than three months away.
Duty and GST on Australian orders
Australia applies a single threshold of AUD 1,000 to both customs duty and GST at the border — one of the most generous in the world, and far higher than Canada's AUD-equivalent CAD 20 or the United States, which removed its threshold entirely in 2025.
Below AUD 1,000. Most of our formal and festive pieces fall under this figure. Parcels below the threshold generally clear the border without customs duty or GST being charged on arrival.
Above AUD 1,000. Heavier bridal pieces can exceed it. Above the threshold a formal import declaration is required, and three charges apply: customs duty, which for clothing and textiles is typically 5%; GST at 10%, calculated on the value of the taxable importation — the goods plus freight, insurance and any duty already added; and the Import Processing Charge levied by the Australian Border Force.
How it works in practice: where charges are payable, the courier clears your parcel and contacts you directly before delivery to collect what is owed. You pay the courier, not us, and the parcel is released once that is settled.
Because the threshold is tested on the value of the whole consignment, ordering two pieces together can push a shipment over AUD 1,000 when each piece alone would have sat under it. If that matters to you, message us before ordering and we can talk through how best to send them.
We cannot tell you an exact figure in advance, since it depends on the commodity code for your piece, its declared value, and the exchange rate on the day. What we can do is declare your order accurately and provide the documentation the courier needs.
Australian dollars on screen, rupees at checkout
The prices you see in AUD are an estimate at today's rate. Your card is charged in Pakistani rupees, since Shopify Payments is not available in Pakistan and our gateway settles in rupees. Most Australian cards add a foreign transaction fee of around 3%, and some charge none. We can confirm the AUD figure on WhatsApp first.
Australian sizing
Australian sizes follow the UK system. We cut XXS to XL and make other sizes to measure:
XXS — AU 2
XS — AU 4–6
S — AU 8–10
M — AU 12–14
L — AU 16–18
XL — AU 20–22
Made to measure across time zones
Most designs are made to your measurements at no extra cost. Australian customers usually measure in centimetres; send them that way.
