Bridal couture FAQs
How far ahead should I order my bridal couture?
Bridal couture takes 10 to 12 weeks from order to delivery, so most brides order about three months before the barat. If your wedding is closer than that, message us on WhatsApp before ordering; some of the lighter bridal pieces in Pakistani Bridal Dresses are made in about four weeks.
Which pieces are made for the barat?
Zarafshan and Zil-e-Illahi are the traditional red barat lehengas, with gold worked through the red on Zil-e-Illahi. For a bride who would rather not wear red, Dilnashin in champagne gold and Sitara in white beige carry the same depth of handwork.
Is there bridal couture for the mehndi and walima as well?
Yes. Maha Rani, a mustard gold and blue lehenga, and Rang Rasiya, a raw silk shirt with sharara, are made for a bride's mehndi. For the walima, Jhoomar, Laila and Roshni are long open-front gowns in misty blue, mint and mauve lilac.
Can I come to the studio for my bridal fitting?
Yes. Book an appointment at 39-A MM Alam Road, Gulberg III, Lahore, to see the fabrics and handwork and have your measurements taken. If you live abroad, we take your measurements over WhatsApp and can send extra photos and video of the design.
