In Pakistan, pret means an outfit that comes stitched and finished, not as unstitched fabric. Ours is luxury pret: an embroidered set dressy enough for a dholki, a family dinner, Eid or a smaller function where you are a guest. Each set is still stitched to order in Lahore, which takes about four weeks.
Most designs pair a raw silk shirt and trouser with an organza dupatta finished in a four-sided border. Iris is navy with silver sequins, Freesia is magenta with golden thread, Tulip is lilac with Mughal paisley motifs and Ember is a black open-front shirt with floral threadwork. The handwork stays on the neckline, sleeves and borders: dabka, naqshi, tilla, pearls and matte gold sequins.
A few go further: Omairah, off-white organza over a badla sharara; Safavid, a powder peach net shirt over a badla lehenga; Rosa and Artemisia in kathan organza; and Wild Romance, a deep red open-front organza gown.

Made to order. The word pret refers to the finished, stitched outfit, not to stock on a shelf, so each set is cut for you and takes about four weeks before it is dispatched. The exact making time is shown on every product page. If you need something within days, pieces in Ready to Ship are dispatched in one to two days.
What comes in a set?
Most designs are three pieces: shirt, trouser and dupatta, as with Red Rose, Topaz and Blush. A few are built differently. Artemisia has its raw silk trouser plus an inner blouse, Wild Romance is an open-front gown worn over a tissue inner with tissue trousers, and Safavid is a four-piece with a net shirt, badla lehenga, organza dupatta and tissue slip. Which designs work for a dholki or a mehndi as a guest?
Go for colour. Freesia in magenta and Topaz in pink both carry gold thread and sequins, and Menthe is a sea green tissue shirt with an embellished trouser border and a net spray dupatta. They are easy to sit and dance in, and bright enough for a night of dholak and mehndi.
Is there anything here for a small nikkah or engagement?
Yes. Rosa is a peach kathan organza shirt worked in resham, Swarovski and pearls, Safavid comes in powder peach with a badla lehenga, and Amelia is white raw silk with a peach organza dupatta. For a bigger function, our luxury formals carry heavier handwork.
Do you make lawn or everyday pret?
No. Everything we make is occasion wear in raw silk, organza, tissue and net, finished by hand, so you will not find lawn or casual daywear with us. These sets are the lightest pieces we make for weddings and celebrations.
