A Pakistani engagement is mostly a day in front of the camera. The ring goes on in front of both families, then come the portraits, the stage and a long stretch beside your fiancé, so the outfit has to look right up close and stay comfortable for hours.
That is why these engagement dresses lean towards blush, tea pink, peach, lilac, ice blue, mint, sea green and gold. Lehenga choli make up most of the edit, from lighter net formals to fully worked bridal pieces. Next to them sit open-front net gowns layered over a lehenga, a kaftan with raw silk trousers, a pishwas, a full-length maxi and an organza shirt with badla sharara. Net and organza lead, with raw silk, tissue and jamawar in a few designs.

Most brides keep red for the barat, so the engagement is a chance to wear something softer. Blush, peach, lilac, ice blue and mint photograph well in both daylight and stage lighting. Gold pieces such as Golden Patel and Husna Bano give the warmth of a traditional look without repeating your barat colour.
Is a lehenga or a gown better for the ring ceremony?
A lehenga choli gives volume and a fuller bridal look on stage. If you would rather walk around freely between the ring and the photos, Marigold and Roshanara pair a lighter net gown, open at the front, with a lehenga beneath. For less to carry through a long evening, try the Sultanate kaftan or the Omairah sharara set.
Are these only for the bride, or can sisters and family wear them too?

Can I wear my engagement outfit again at another function?

My engagement is only a few weeks away. What can I still order?
Luxury pret and formals both take about four weeks, while bridal couture needs 10 to 12 weeks including delivery. Ready to Ship pieces leave within 24 to 48 hours. Each product page shows its own making time, and if your date is tight, check with us on WhatsApp before you order.
