Saanvi is a skin gold lehenga choli by Waqas Shah, a soft champagne shade cut in pure Indian raw silk and scattered from waist to hem with small florals in golden tilla aari work, sequins and resham. A deep, tiered border of floral bands and sequin lines weights the hem so the skirt falls and moves well. The choli has a sweetheart neckline edged in pearls, crystal stones, sequins, naqshi and seed beads, half sleeves, and a tie-up back with gold doris and a latkan of gota, mirror work and beads. A sheer pure organza dupatta, sprinkled with sequin buttis and framed by a wide tilla aari and sequin border with a fine fringed edge, completes the set. Made to order in our Lahore atelier and delivered to Pakistan, India, the UK, USA, Canada, Australia, the UAE and Europe.
Who Can Wear Saanvi
Saanvi is made for a bride who wants gold without the weight of red: for her engagement, nikkah, walima or reception. At a Sikh wedding it suits the kurmai, chunni ceremony and reception, and modern brides choose soft gold for the anand karaj; at a Hindu wedding it belongs at the sagai, sangeet and reception. Sisters, bhabhis, cousins and friends can wear it to a baraat, mehndi or jaggo and still sit beautifully beside a bride in red.
How to Style Saanvi
Skin gold is gentle on every skin tone and pairs with polki, kundan and pearls, lifted by one colour stone such as emerald or mint. For a nikkah or anand karaj, draw the organza dupatta over your head and keep to a choker and long earrings. Yes. Every outfit is made to order. Most designs come in standard sizes XS to XL, newer pieces also start from XXS, and our heaviest bridals are made to measure only; each product page shows its own sizes. Whichever you choose, the free "Customize" option lets us stitch it to your exact measurements. On selected designs we can also discuss colour, embroidery and fabric adjustments while keeping the original design identity.
Because each piece is handcrafted after your order is confirmed, the production time is shown on every product page under Delivery Time. Pieces from our Ready to Ship collection are dispatched sooner. If you have a wedding or event date, please contact us before ordering so we can confirm the timeline.
Yes, and shipping is free on every order — worldwide and inside Pakistan alike. There is no delivery charge at checkout and no minimum order value. Parcels leave our Lahore studio fully trackable: TCS within Pakistan; DHL or SkyNet worldwide. Once your piece is made, delivery takes 2 to 5 days within Pakistan and 4 to 11 days to the UK, USA, Canada, Europe, UAE and beyond.
Import duty and local taxes are payable by you on arrival and differ by country. We keep a separate guide for the USA, UK, Canada, Australia, the UAE and Europe.
Depending on the design, we work with premium net, organza, raw silk, velvet, chiffon and other couture-quality fabrics. Our work combines hand embroidery and embellishment such as dabka, naqshi, zardozi, pearls and crystals with fine machine embroidery in tilla, aari, resham and sequins, and every piece is quality-checked before it leaves our atelier.
Most of our outfits are made to order, so we do not offer returns, exchanges or refunds for change of mind. If you receive a defective or incorrect item, please report it within 5 days of delivery with clear photos, and we will put it right with a repair, an exchange, store credit, or a partial or full remake.
