Sitara White Beige Nikkah Lehenga Choli: Design and Styling

Sitara is a white beige lehenga choli from our Vyah Diyan Tyaariyan collection, made for the nikkah or a reception. It is a three-piece set in net, hand-embroidered in zari, dabka, naqshi, sequins, pearls, crystals and resham, with a soft palette that keeps the look calm while the handwork carries the detail.

The three pieces

Choli

The choli is worked across the bodice and sleeves in fine zari, sequins, pearls, crystals and resham. For a nikkah, the detail close to the face matters most, because that is what the photographs of the signing capture.

Lehenga

The lehenga is flared and heavily worked in zari, dabka, naqshi, sequins, pearls, crystals and resham, which gives the white beige base dimension and a soft sparkle.

Dupatta

The net dupatta has embroidered borders and a light drape. It pins easily over the head for the nikkah and contrasts gently with the worked lehenga and choli.

Why white beige for a nikkah

The nikkah is usually the most intimate function, and many brides choose white, ivory or beige for it. White beige is warmer than pure white, so it does not look stark in daylight or wash out against fair skin, and the metallic handwork shows clearly against it. Sitara is made to order in our Lahore atelier and takes 10 to 12 weeks including delivery. It can be made to your measurements, and we ship free worldwide, by TCS in Pakistan and DHL or SkyNet abroad; import duty, where it applies, is paid by the customer.
